Wright, the renowned third base player, was drafted out of high school in 2001 and made his debut in New York in 2004. Wright was on the All-Star team in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, and was the recipient of the prestigious Gold Glove Award in both 2007 and 2008.

Wright will join an impressive list of co-founders that includes champion golfer Sergio Garcia, tennis superstar Serena Williams, two-time league MVP Steve Nash, two-time Gold Medal soccer player Mia Hamm and basketball phenomenon Carmelo Anthony among others.
