Deerfield Spa welcomed State Rep. John Siptroth (D-Monroe/Pike) and Monroe Country Commissioner and Chair Suzanne McCool at the grand opening celebration for its new Day Spa and Spa Lifestyle Boutique last month. Siptroth and McCool were also joined by Pat Metzgar, vice president of operations and development for the Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce, which conducted an official ribbon cutting in conjunction with the grand opening celebration.

The event was well attended and featured massage and product sampling, refreshments, and a raffle for a $100 gift basket of Prana Spaceutical skincare products, along with remarks by Siptroth, McCool, Metzgar, and Deerfield owner/director Joan Wolff.

Attendees also received discount coupons for their first day spa treatment at Deerfield's new facility.

Deerfield's new Day Spa and Boutique are the result of major capital improvements geared to create a new resource for the local community and make Deerfield the premier "destination for a day" for people in Monroe County and surrounding communities," said Wolff.
