Science-Based Virtual Aging of Photos Made Possible Using AgeTell
TORONTO, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- - ModiFace Inc., the world-wide leader of makeover technologies for web, kiosk and mobile, today announced the launch of AgeTell, the latest visualization tool that simulates the effects of aging on user-photos instantly. Based on artificial intelligence and computer vision technology, the company's applications to date visualize skincare, anti-aging products, color-cosmetics, weight-loss, and hair styles. This innovative application now enables users to see what would happen if the biological clock is accelerated forward.
ModiFace's AgeTell application allows anyone, from curious internet users to forensic or security specialists to simply upload a photo of an individual in order to virtually add up to 20 years. With a simple click of a button, the technology whitens hair, deepens fine lines and wrinkles, highlights age spots, and even manipulates muscles to lose firmness and elasticity as it occurs in real life. The user has the option to choose age ranges between 0-20 years forward and results are portrayed immediately. This technology, in development for the past year at ModiFace Labs, can be used for various entertainment or professional purposes, and enables organizations such as the FBI or local police to obtain photo-realistic visualizations of what individuals may look like after elapsed time.
"One of the most unique aspects of AgeTell is that it uses the lines and muscles of the individual within the photo itself to show aging. In other words, it is based on a physical simulation of what happens to our face as we age, from the spots on the skin, to the relaxation of the muscles, to the whitening of the hair." says Parham Aarabi, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of ModiFace.
Along with the launch of AgeTell, ModiFace also announced a special promotion where the AgeTell technology would be provided to law enforcement at no cost.
